Kim School is looking for multiple individuals to fill the expected open positions for the 2018-2019 school year. Please download and return an application form, or pick one up at the school.  All positions will be "open until filled".

Secondary Social Studies Teacher: We are looking for a teacher to instruct all students 6-12 grade for the 2018-19 school year.  Kim is on a four-day schedule with an eight period school day.  A qualified candidate would teach Civics, World History, Colorado History, and several periods of both core and elective courses.  Please call the school at (719) 643-5295 for more information.

Head Cook:  Our kitchen is in need of a Head Cook who will be in charge of all operations necessary to prepare and deliver breakfast and lunch to district students, staff and occasional community members/visitors.  On average, we serve approximately 100 meals per day.  This position entails some administrative duties; mentoring, training and supervising of the Assistant Cook. Building Maintenance and Custodial:  Kim School is actively seeking a candidate to serve as Head of Maintenance. This position is full-time (12 month) salaried and pays $30,000 per year with medical benefits and the use of a house on campus with reduced rent. This position oversees all of the custodial and maintenance demands the district places on its main buildings, grounds, rental units, and vehicle fleet.  The Custodial position is separate from Maintenance and is a part-time, hourly position (compensation commiserate with experience), which runs the length of the school year.  We anticipate the total number of hours for our custodian to be 12-15 per week for the nine months school is in session.  Head of Maintenance starts on July 1, 2018, and the Custodial position begins in early August.

Language Arts Teacher:  We are looking for teacher to instruct all students 6-12 grade for the 2018-19 school year. A qualified candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in English, or a secondary education degree with English language arts emphasis.  Please call the school 719-643-5295 for more information.
